Conflict ideas

To be able to write a great book for readers to want to keep reading you need conflict. It help readers to get frustrated when your character encounters obstacles and they become relieved when the obstacle is overcome, they also feel triumphant or despair at the end if the character has succeed or failed.

Desire

What are your characters deepest desires? Try to imagine how they can obtain it and what obstacles they have to face. Examples do they have fulfillment in life, with self and wants. Home to own, have comfort and security. Stability what, money or debt free. Work are they self-employed, own their own business, or may be they work for someone else that they hate or enjoy. Happiness they want better health, family life or with self. Family relations are they supported, believed have conflict or no conflict, are the relationships good or bad, who are they not talking to, are they unsupported with illness, hospital or mental health problems, is their any betrayal, back stabbing or stealing.   

Relationships

Some times it good to take a look at your own past relationship that have or have not worked to get ideas, readers like more realistic story lines. Examples Work type, places trust and UN trust worthy. Friends how you met and where, are they close or keep at arm’s length. look at different reasoning for trustworthy with your own friends or maybe bad experience you have had. New Romance is it an old flame or someone you want but can’t have. Your partner has their been cheating, or lies is it long-term are they happy not happy, feel stuck are their children involved, are you already married but love someone else, is it true love or lust or do they have a hate love relationship. Maybe they have a love situation where they are threatened to be cut of from that person, what would their reaction be. Or could be where your made to choose between two people. could look at what major struggles their having with someone they hate and life in general.

Fears

Overcome particular fear habits this is great for readers because they want to find out what happens, the reader experience what the character is experiences. Examples Fear of betrayal from work collages stealing ideas causing you to lose your job. Loved one betrayal as going with one of your family members, or self destroying behaviors. Character fear they got to make drastic changes as they need to find who they are. Fear of greatest weakness they need to overcome or risk losing something or someone they care about. Research different fear and force your character to face it.

Novel Writing Idea’s

Ideas and plot development – considerations – writer mind, inspiration and cultivate writing process. Firmly  have roots based in reality, write what around you, benefits that draws in reader and different concepts.

Genres – Research – type define like horror, thriller, romance, psychological and biographical. Describing fiction, adventure stories, historical, mystery, mainstream and build foundations read similar books.

Creative inspirations and creating outlines – Inspired by areas like water falls, forest, mountains, country sides, sun set and sun rise. Example man in a taxi and people on a train even people spying etc. Key words, title information, writing prom, fun projects and pictures. Detailed outline, prepare starting point personal and flexible, write a pro-log, first paragraph and roughly 5000 words per chapter.

Points of view – Instinctive feelings, advantages and disadvantages, persons- first forms as I, We, My. Second not much used. 3rd person normal used which shifts point of view as in It, Then, She.

Writing Dialogue – Take note of people around you, how they sound, it is loud, booming voice or shy, soft, deep, husky, irritating, smooth, high pitched. Do they speck quickly or slow, have an accent. Observation of others help with how you would like your character to talk and sound, and conversation ideas.

Emotions and Building the Journey – Research normal life be strong and realistic, is there drama, romantic senoras. How do they see, feel, and act. Build emotions such as sadness, grief, be inventive, portray fears and dreams. Scenes ratification like obstetrical to over come and page turners. Tense scenes are they withdrawn, disbelieving, hows their emotional welfare, could write love turning to hate.

Characterization –  Make believable and interesting, visualization, life like, what drives then (motivation). How they think feel in certain way. what are their traits as in aspects, personality and behaviors. Look at friendship, work collages, family contacts. How they work or what knowledge they have. do they have any health conditions, look at family history. Are they a villain, hero etc. Build picture points of reference, write tangential history, likes and dislikes.

Profile – Basic, age, eye color, hair color and style, weight, height, do they have an distinguishing features. Are they moody, emotional, career driven, funny, shy, feisty, temperamental, determined, resourceful,  anxious or appolagetic.

First chapter – Planing, hook reader with great story line, conflicts, inside view (your mind). Have detailed notes and showcase your skills with flash backs, glimpse of past events. Make it compelling, informative, griping and relevant.
